The palatte of this project is inspired by the vernacular materials of coorg, with the raw and striking character of the surface of laterite stone used to juxtapose with the clean white geometries which form the mass of the two storied holiday home. The strategic use of wooden elements in the facade and fenestrations impart warmth and softness to the composition. and the use of planter box on the exterior windows, allows plants and creepers to grow along the face of the wall, enhancing the beauty of the natural laterite cladding.
